The Citrus Gardens are connected to Route 04. They are owned by the rich Cindertrees, whose manor overlooks this lush, colourful nature reserve, where many rare Pokémon can be found.

Obtainable Pokémon

Pokémon Collector

The player can engage in a sidequest with an enthusiastic Pokémon collector. He order you to find rare Pokémon in the gardens and show them to him, and in return he gives the following items:

  • Pikachu - 5x Full Heals
  • Swablu - Revive
  • Wynaut - Smoke Ball
  • Porygon - Up-Grade
  • Happiny - Lucky Egg

Items

  • Nugget: In a chest to the northwest of the Gardens.
  • Rose Incense: To the right of the chest containing the Nugget.
  • Luxury Ball: In a chest in the southeast corner of the Gardens.
  • TM42 - Facade: In a chest to the far east of the Mansion, next to the lake.

Mr Pockets

Here, the player first encounters this item merchant with a noticeably heavy Boston accent. He can be found in the northeastern corner of the Gardens, and sells the following items:

  • Leaf Stone: $5,500
  • Oval Stone: $3,500
  • Poké Doll: $1,000
  • Quick Ball: $1,000
  • Mental Herb: $800
  • Sitrus Berries x3: $800
  • Chilan Berries x3: $800

Citrus Manor Pokémon

Inside the Manor you battle Mr. Watson, the head of the Cindertree family. If you defeat him, you will be rewarded with one of the rare Johto Starters:

  • Bayleef - Grass Type
  • Quilava - Fire Type
  • Croconaw - Water Type
